Possibly because I didn't read the first book but this book seemed to ramble. There were all sorts of things going on in the first few chapters with little background. There was a lot of colloquial language in the book which made it hard to follow. One in particular was her referring to a number of people as "Tante". I assumed this was Cajun but in looking it up online it is Dutch for aunt.

After going back and forth to the internet to look up expressions I finally gave up. Just not my type of book and I like the paranormal genre as a general rule. I would suggest you read book one first though I couldn't find enough reason to go and do so.

AWESOME sequel to an already great storyline...loved the rise and fall of the characters plot lines and very often found myself talking back to the book..
A wonderful book that will have you going through every emotion possible and keep you wanting more! I can't wait for the 3rd!
A good fast paced read. Held ny attention all through the book. I do believe it is a book for all ages. From mid teen on. Can't wait to read the next one.

This series had me hooked with book one. By the end of book 2 I was hunting trying to find out when book 3 would be released.
The first book was a slow start but eventually it became interesting. A bit disappointing in the end because I needed to buy the second book. So since the ending left me hanging I just had to buy the second book. This book was much better but I'm disappointed that I need to buy another book. Unless the entire series is out I tend to forget to purchase the next book when it hits the market because I move on to the next book on my kindle.
